I acknowledge the Blue Mountains Hospital Auxiliary and congratulate it on hosting a fabulous benefit concert just last weekend. The auxiliary undertakes a range of fundraising activities throughout the year to raise money for our little hospital and the equipment that is needed. It supports all of the fabulous staff in the hospital, and the annual concert is a highlight of the year. We heard from the Orpheus Strings orchestra, the Leura Singers, a cello quintet, the Kanimbla String Quartet, the Orpheus juniors and our fabulous city band. I thank the community for coming to the public school to support the auxiliary, which does such fantastic work with the Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital.
