Jan Carbury, a former registered nurse, has an extensive background of care and medical training. She is always happy to help her family, elderly friends and neighbours. Jan consistently checks in on her vulnerable and unwell neighbours, family and friends at their homes in aged care and in hospital. Jan has also adopted and cared for the pets of her family and friends, taking responsibility for these beloved animals. This valuable assistance is greatly appreciated by their thankful owners. In this time, she has also lovingly tended to gardens, providing people and their pets beautiful spaces to relax and enjoy their free time. Jan frequently visits a church kitchen to help provide food to people in precarious situations in our local community.
