Ms TRISH DOYLE (Blue Mountains)—Earlier this year I had the pleasure of attending the Glenbrook Evening Branch of the Country Women's Association (CWA) to join them in preparing Mother's Day pamper packs. The packs were for clients of Gateway Family Services in Blaxland. The lovely Heather Gwilliam and Alison Smith from Gateway Family Services also attended to assist with packing the boxes and they provided CWA members with an overview of the services they provide for clients. More than 90 boxes were filled with items such as soaps, creams, makeup, perfumes and hair products, which were kindly donated by CWA members and some of the local chemists. I would like to acknowledge these fabulous CWA members: Fiona Webster, Gail Moran, Gina Rickard, Jennifer Navin, Kate McDonald, Kathy Dwyer, Kerryn Hogan, Kym McKinnon, Leanne Talbot, Cathy Drury, Rebecca Baker, Sandra Tarbey, Sue Cox, Karen Schulze and Julie Grazotis. Since then I have been advised that the Glenbrook CWA – Evening Branch has made a donation of $300 to Gateway Family Services, Blaxland to assist them in caring for families impacted by the Covid-19 lockdown. Congratulations and thank you to everyone involved in these efforts of care and compassion.
