Today I celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Springwood and District Preschool Kindergarten, one of the many pillars of my community. For five decades it has provided a nurturing environment where young minds thrive and local families are supported. This milestone is a reflection of the dedication of the amazing educators, working with director extraordinaire Jessica Jefferies, as well as past and present staff and families and all who have been part of the journey. It is a wonderful reminder of the vital role community-based preschools and early childhood educators play in shaping our future. I congratulate everyone involved in this amazing achievement—they make our community proud. I look forward to seeing the preschool continue to grow and inspire the next generation.
