I express my gratitude to the very good people who make our working lives easier in this place: the NSW Parliamentary precinct. The friendly smiles and assistance provided to members and their staff is greatly appreciated and not mentioned enough. One might await the felicitations at Christmas time to do this, but today I say a heartfelt 'Thank you' to: The Clerks Team, House and Procedure staff, Hansard, Library Team, Committee staff, IT crew, Chamber assistants & reception staff, Catering and cafe teams, DPS across the board, our Special Constables. Shout out to the Ministerial Drivers, particularly Neil Ansell. Last week, at the end of a long day and after many had left the place, I found my car battery flat & was stuck deep in the Parliamentary car park. Neil stepped in to provide a calm assistance. He went above and beyond to ensure I could safely get on my way home to the Blue Mountains. As a former constituent, but essentially due to his caring demeanour, Neil was friendly, supportive and helpful beyond measure. Thank you SO much, Neil. Thank you to all the fabulous people who work in the NSW Parliament and enrich our lives.
